Brandon was a little shocked, to say the least, when we found out we were expecting. Truthfully, I don't think he ever adjusted to the suprise. When we were walking the halls at the hospital, I kept hearing the newborns cry and kept smiling to myself. All Brandon could say is that he was dreading the crying and the diapers, etc. I couldn't believe he still was so negative about this when it was upon us!!!
So, after Kendi arrived and the nurses were cleaning her up in the warmer, I looked over at Brandon and he was glowing!!! The smile on his face. . . I SOOO wish I had a picture (Brooke, where were you?). And ever since she has arrived, Brandon is quick to even change diapers.
Kendi even likes to hang with her Daddy while he studies. He props her up on a pillow right next to him and she sucks on her binky and usually falls asleep.
I am so glad that Daddy loves his girls!!!

Too cute! I know I love to see men cuddle with their kids and get all excited over them and how cute they are. Especially with little newborns!
So sweet! Being a "Daddy's Girl" myself I know how special a daddy is to a little girl :)
That's so cute. As I was reading that I can just picture him doing all that. It took me back to when Kira was born and he was such a proud daddy.
So cute.
So lucky that he does some diaper changes.
