I am on a roll today! Okay, I promise this is the last one. I have started a craft blog. It is probably still a little boring, as it is still a work in progress, but I thought I would let you know!

School Time

Lorna J Kesterson Elementary School. Can you believe that my little Kira is going to be attending this fall? I can't. At first I didn't think I wanted to send her to school this year. She will only turn 5 in August, so she will be really young and also I thought it would be fun if I held her back a year and she would only be one year ahead of Kamber. But the last few months she has just seemed extremely bored of being at home and I really don't know what to do with her. If I had money and a car I would have her in preschool and rec center classes, etc. But I think she is ready for school and is VERY excited about it (lets hope that lasts!). This school is only a few blocks from our house and her friend, Brighton will be attending as well. Wow! How time flies. . . In another 5 years, all my girls will be in school! Then what will I do with my time?

BORING. . . no new pics!

Sorry I have been so lazy in my blogging. I sit at home and wait for someone else to post on their blog, but can't think of anything interesting to post on my own. What a loser I am! So, just to update. . . I am 8.7 months pregnant and feel 27 months pregnant (maybe like an elephant??). The doctor was off on guessing this was going to be a small baby. . . she has gotten so big in the last few weeks!!!! And because she is breech, she sits differently in my tummy and feels like she must be about 20 pounds, instead of 7 or so. The due date is still July 10, but I am hoping for her to come early. . . like NOW!!! But Brandon says I have to wait at least a few more days because he has his end of rotation test tomorrow and his first day of his new rotation on Tuesday. I am certain that this little stubborn stinker of a baby is going to come on July 1st, which is Brandon's first day of a new rotation and my on-call babysitter for the girls is having surgery that day. I can just picture having to drive myself to the hospital in labor, with the girls in the back seat!!! Okay, I am sure it won't be that bad, but so far little Kendi doesn't seem to want to do anything the way I have planned. So, I guess we will see if we survive the next few weeks. . . I was kind of thinking that maybe I could just be put under anthesia for the next two or three weeks and wake up when all (or most of) the yucky stuff is over. Wish us luck!

Home Remedy #2

Okay, I can't really take credit for this one-- and maybe it is like some family secret or something that I shouldn't be sharing, but. . . Brooke gave me this great home remedy to keep Kamber's hair from turning green in the pool. She puts conditioner on her girl's hair BEFORE getting in the pool and it somehow protects the hair. Works great-- I highly recommend it!

Help!

I've got a breech baby at 37 weeks! Anybody know some good tricks to get her to turn???

Father's Day

Okay, so one of the many blessings of my injury has been a new friend-- for me and the girls! The Reeves family has been so helpful in watching the girls and helping us with anything that we need. The girls think their house is their second home. On top of all the help with these things, Brooke has also been sharing her fabulous talents with us. One of them is her photography skills. Take a look at these adorable pics that she took of the girls for Father's Day.

Disposal Cleaner?

Does anyone have any great ways to clean out a garbage disposal? Kira and Brandon have very sensitive noses and complain to me frequently that the sink smells. Nothing I have tried so far seems to really work. Any ideas?

Progress by Degrees

And life goes on. . . I thought I would just give another health update. I finally got my suchers (sp???) out last Friday. Here is a pic of the outside and inside of my arm with the suchers.


Very pretty, huh? It looks better now without the thick blue thread, but they are still going to be interesting scars. I am now working on my physical therapy, as my elbow only moves maybe 30-40 degrees of the 180 degrees it used to move. I can't believe how much energy it takes to just work on moving my arm! It exhausts me. Add that to being eight months pregnant and you have one lazy Momma!

Baby is doing well. She already has a nickname-- Mighty Mouse. The doctor thinks she will be smaller than my other babies (8lb 2oz and 7lb 8oz). And she does feel smaller to me as well. But man, can she kick! For only being a few pounds she can really pack a punch. And she is the hiccup queen! About three times a day I feel her start bouncing around in there. I just hope she stays put for several more weeks, until my arm is stronger. (I also hope she doesn't come out with three eyes or something with all the x-rays she has been through!!!)
