So, apparently 6 is Kendi's magical number. She is all of a sudden happy, cheerful, talkative, fun to be around. Brandon and I keep looking at each other asking who this baby is. Until now she would only last about one hour and a half before she definitely needed a nap. Now she can go hours without being fussy. Who is this baby?

Lil' Bit
My baby is 6 months old! Time flies when you are having fun. . . well, it seems to fly even when you are NOT having fun. . .
Kendi had her 6 month check up yesterday and she is weighing in at 12 pounds 8 ounces--a tiny lil' bit! She is 25 inches long.
We still love her, but she is still waking up every three hours ALL NIGHT LONG!!! And she is still a little fuss. She is close to sitting up and LOVES to stand up (with help, of course).
She keeps Brandon and I exhausted, both physically and emotionally. Her new nickname is Pita. I would explain , but unless you really know her, you probably wouldn't understand.
Hopefully I will have a little happier report on her nine month check-up. . .

Beautiful. . . but a little weird
Okay, I have to brag just a little bit. . . (it's my right as a mom- isn't it?)

So, you have to agree, right? Are those not amazing pictures? I mean, what is Kira like 16 or something? Wow. I love my little girlies.
As beautiful as they are, they sure do have some weird little habits. Kendi for instance, whenever she gets mad, she reaches behind her neck with her right hand and scratches with her sharp little fingernails. This is what her neck looked like after I let her cry it out one night.

Who does that? She has some serious issues. And Kamber? Huh. She puts her food in her mouth and chews, but doesn't swallow. It takes her an ETERNITY to get through one meal. And I find nice little suprises when I go to brush her teeth. Now, Kira's quirkiness isn't bad, just unusual. She LOVES school. The last week she has asked me at least 10 times if it is time to go back to school yet. But I still love them, quirkiness and all!
