Come out, Baby!

I know I still haven't reached my due date (July 10), but I am tired of being pregnant! And I am already dialated to a 4 (maybe more! That was last week!). Why won't this baby come out? She is big enough. . . So, does anybody have any good ideas on how to start labor??? Maybe some magic potion that will turn the baby at the same time as inducing labor???

This is the Labor Inducing Salad that I've heard of. I haven't tried it (my kids were all early -sorry)

Romaine Lettuce
Chopped Walnuts
Gorgonzola Cheese
Watercress
Any dressing with Balsamic Vinegar
Mix the salad to taste and eat once or twice, then get ready to have your kid!

I have also heard that walking (like around the block) helps.

I was told that when you have regular contractions to start walking...get up on your feet to help your body to widen up if you know what I mean! Anyway...good luck. I was at a 4 for a week before Cardston came! BLah. I totally feel for you.

Castor Oil Baby!!! Drink up!!! (Okay, so all the southerners swear by this, but I would never do it.) Do I need to come and talk to her tonight?

Walking and a bumpy car ride. The car rides also put my other kids to sleep. Those were suggested to me, but unfortunately none of them worked with Acadia: I was 10 days late. Good luck

raspberry herbal tea, I drank it a few days away from my due date, I was dialated to a 4 myself. I drank the tea at 3:30pm, started having contractions at midnight that night and delivered at 4:45am.

Black and Blue Cohosh and Red Raspberry Leaf Tea (I have some if you want it). I drank the tea a couple times a day in the last few weeks and took the Cohosh tinctures (a couple drops every hour rotating between the two) for over a week without having Hyrum though, he was 13 days late. It did help increase contractions, along with walking 20-30 minutes every day. (Maybe you could walk in a swimming pool, it's way too hot outside right now.) I tried castor oil with Selah with no success, she was 10 days late. I was afraid to take too much, so that might be why it didn't work. I guess some babies just really like it in there!
I feel for you though, being pregnant in this weather would not be very fun. I hope you go into labor right now! :) Good luck!
