Company Picnic

On the 25th of July, we all went to Brandon's company picnic. It was. . . ummm. . . typical. But the girls had a good time. Here are a few of the pics:

Day 5- Sunday

Whew! After all our playing, we took Sunday off to re-coop before the long drive home on Monday. But even as tired as we all were, we still spent the evening hours (after the babes were in bed) to play games. Our current favorite-- Ticket to Ride. Very fun!

Thank you, Mom and Dad for having us to visit! We had a great time. Love you all!

Day 3- The Campout

Yes, I know that I am backtracking. We did so much fun stuff it is hard to remember!

On Friday night, my dad set up a big tent and he and the big girls had a campout on the front lawn. Very cool. They first had some s'mores for dessert
then stayed up watching Sleeping Beauty and Hercules.
Didn't see them again until morning.

Day 4- The Performance

My sister Lacey has always been a performer. Even as a little girl I remember her dancing and singing and whatnot. While we were together, she decided to share some of her talents with my girls. So I whipped up some costumes and my dad provided a Karaoke machine and Lacey did makeup and hair and presto! Instant performance!

They performed a lip sync to Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies." For some reason my girls really like this song. BTW, does Lacey not look fabulous in royal blue lycra? ;0)

Day 4- The Creek

My grandparents lived on the same farm from the time that my dad was 6 months old until just recently. Since my grandmother's passing, we are trying to get them moved out of their home so that the owners can rent it out to someone else. We have so many memories from down at the ranch that we wanted to spend one more day playing there. We also needed to get started going through my grandmother's many things.

Day 3- The Hike

On Friday, decided to take a hike to Phelps Lake. The hike was about 3 miles, round trip and took us to a beautiful lake. Everyone else helped with my kiddos, so I went to town with the camera. Nothing spectacular, but I just wanted to explain my excessive number of photos. ;0)
