Kindergarten Graduation

So, I know I thought they were overdoing it to have a kindergarten "graduation." I even at some point said that I thought I might throw up if they played 'Pomp and Circumstance.'

But, I have to admit, as Kira was walking down the aisle to the stage, with her cap and gown, while the cd player cranked out 'Pomp and Circumstance', I got a little teary eyed. She looked so precious and so big!

Her little graduation was very sweet. They sang a whole bunch of songs and each child came up and said what they wanted to be when they grow up (Kira wants to be an artist, BTW). It was short and sweet and then it was over. My baby (big) girl is no longer a kindergartener-- she's a first grader!!!!

And, wouldn't you know it, I forgot my camera. So you will have to live with this terrible picture of a picture.

Congratulations, my sweet Kira! I love you, baby girl!

Oh my gosh! She looks adorable! And I cannot believe how old she is! I remember just yesterday seeing her in KS when she was only a few days old!
