Spring Cleaning!

Okay, I know for all you Utah and Colorado- ites, it doesn't seem quite like spring yet, but here in the desert we definately have spring on the way. Have you ever noticed how liberating it is to get rid of things? It is kind of like paying off a your car, or breaking a bad habit. You now have one less thing to take care of, to find room for, to clean, etc. Brandon is an expert at getting rid of things. And since he has a little more time at home now, he has been gung-ho about de-junking our home. (Have you ever thought about how much stuff we bring into our house each week? To keep the status quo, we should be getting rid of as much as we bring home!) So, we have gotten through everything (whew!), but now comes the hard part. Being that we are "starving students," I try to make money on all of our un-wanted items. That means ebaying!!! And while part of me enjoys it, it is a hassle to organize your junk, take pics, box it, weigh it, post it, ship it, etc. So, if any of you are looking for a good deal on someone else's old stuff, check out our ebay listings!!! ;0)

Addiction

I cannot believe that I am actually writing that word in reference to me, but it is true. I am officially addicted to sugar, candy, chocolate, whatever. Brandon and I have been trying to eat healthier (new year's resolution), and I have been doing pretty good, but then this week, I got some new "potty treats" for Kamber, and guess who is eating them!!!! MEEEE!!!! I am so determined not to gain so much weight with this pregnancy (50 pounds is WAY too much!), but if I don't get Kamber finished with potty training soon, I will be gaining 60 pounds! And I might not be able to keep my husband around after that. AHHHHH! I can't believe how difficult life can be when you really don't have anything difficult going on (if that made any sense).

Milestone!

Okay, I am officially calling Kamber potty trained. Hooray! It seems like it has taken forever!!!! We started back in like June or so and have been off and on since. I think she finally figured it out this week though. She has kept a dry "Pull-up" for five days now. Just for future reference, for anyone who wants some ideas, the thing that worked with Kamber was setting a timer for about 1 hour. Everytime it went off she would go in and go potty. It became a game and worked much better than me just telling her it was time to go. (I would say, "Kamber, do you need to go potty?" Kamber: "No, I fine." (with ATTITUDE!!)) Where do these little people come from anyway???

Update

Okay, just one more for today. . . I thought I would just let you all know that my husband and my car are back! Yeah!!!! It is so great to have Brandon home! We missed him, even more than we realized. I am glad we survived, but I hope we never have to do that again. We need our daddy!

Papa Visits

Papa (Grandpa Payzant) had a work trip that brought him to Vegas for a few days. So, we got to see him! Yeah! The girls were excited to see him, although, when I told Kira that JUST Grandpa was coming to visit, and not Grandma, she burst into tears. She is a real Grandma's girl. But once Papa came, she loved every minute of it. And I did too! Papa, being Papa, spoiled me the entire day. He took us out to eat, took the girls on a walk and made me relax while they were gone, and on and on! Wow! It sure is fun to be spoiled! Thanks, Papa!

Belated Christmas

Okay, so I know that I am really late at getting these in here. . . Sorry! We had a fun Christmas. Just the four of us! Brandon was able to come home for several days, so we enjoyed ourselves. Being that we just have girls (so far!), all of our Christmas decorations are bright pink! I guess that may have to change next year. . . Hope you all had a great Christmas, too! And thank you, thank you, thank you for all the wonderful gifts! We are so spoiled!

Little Kicker!

Oh my gosh, I have been so bad about writing! I agree with Steph, somehow it just didn't sound good for a few months there--hormones are so weird! Well, I finally had my first appointment. I was starting to think that this baby was farther along than I originally thought. First, I actually had someone ask me if I was pregnant at six weeks!!! Yes, six. And yes, I did look pregnant by then (I had only found out a week before!). Then, I starting feeling this little babe start kicking me at 10 weeks. I was sure that I was off by several weeks on my guesstimate. But we had our first ultrasound and we are right on schedule- due July 10. Apparently third pregnancies are just killer. I seriously look like I am six months pregnant, not three. That little baby sure has a lot of room to swim around in there.

And I think this one is a boy and I can't tell you how scared it makes me! It is not that I don't want a boy or don't like boys, I just don't know anything about them! I only have sisters and now I have two girls. Another girl added on just seems like no big deal. But a boy?!?! Kind of scary!!!!
