The long-awaited Wal-Mart has finally arrived in Twin. When we moved here, I was actually excited that Twin did NOT have a Wal-Mart, as I had spent several hours a week for the last 8.5 years shopping there and was ready for a change. But. . . I have to admit that I found myself missing the late hours and vast, everything-ness that Wal-Mart has to offer. Many times I found myself driving around to several stores to find something I knew Wal-Mart would have, only to find that it was several dollars more expensive where-ever I found it. And. . . since they opened last Wednesday, I have been there at least 4 times.
And here is the problem with that:

I know this looks like a cute little Goldfish cracker snack box, but what it REALLY is, is proof that Wal-Mart is bad. . . or maybe it is just proof that I have no self-control. Whatever. Here is the story.
I was thinking the other day that it would be nice to have something to store snacks in for Kendi, as she is in the dumping-out stage and doesn't do baggies very well. Later the same day, we are at Wal-Mart to pick up A COUPLE OF THINGS. And I see this. It is $2-something and would be perfect for Kendi, right? Cheap, cute, kid-friendly. Of course I buy it and bring it home. Run it through the dishwasher. And now? I have no place in my kitchen for it. So it is sitting on the counter. And it has yet to be used. And it cost me money. Money I don't have. Every time I look at it, it makes me frustrated. Frustrated that I can't find anywhere to put it. Frustrated that I spent money on it. Frustrated that I don't have more self-control on my spending habits.
Huh.
So, anyone want a cute little Goldfish cracker snack box? It would give me piece of mind to get it out of my house. And then you can spend time worrying about where to put it-- which is less worry than I have, since it won't cost you any money! ;0)

Wal-mart is great with returns. You could return it on your next trip to get "a couple of things" (lol).
Yes, walmart is bad :)
