First Day of School!

On Monday, Kira started her first day of Kindergarten. Yeah! She was so excited. I thought she might have a hard time when I was leaving, but the only person that was upset was Kamber, because she couldn't go to school, too! She has done great so far. . . here is a picture of her with her backpack. Again, no idea what is with the face. . . either I am a terrible photographer (very possible) or Kira just doesn't photograph very well. Anyway. . .

Today she managed to get lost. Appartently she lined up with the bus kids at the end of the day and was about to get on a bus when her teacher realized she was gone. There were several teachers out looking for her and the rest of the class couldn't be excused until she was found. That's my girl!

First day can be so hard... Good thing the teacher is on top of things. . .Breeona is riding the bus this year too... She gets stressed out with the big kids pushing her around...

Oh my gosh! I can't believe this day has come! I'm so glad the teacher realized when she did. I would have been terrified!

Apparently, Kira's and buses don't mix well. In my first week of Kindergarten, I was told to get off at the wrong stop and was lost. Sorry, that wasn't very comforting...so it's exciting to have her start Kindergarten! I can't wait for that day. She looked so cute!

Kira and I have too much in common. I got on the wrong airplane when going back to BYU one time. Freaky. I almost flew to California and almost missed my flight to Utah. It was scary. Luckily there are people who watchout for us...or at least are doing their jobs! I'm glad she is enjoying school.
