Help!

I've got a breech baby at 37 weeks! Anybody know some good tricks to get her to turn???

I typed in "How to turn a breech baby" in Google and got a lot of different results. Some looked a little "out there" if you know what I mean, but some looked as though they might work.

Arm surgery, now this? Don't know how to help...wish I could. But I bet you'll be glad to get the baby out. Hopefully she'll turn for you. I really like the name for her. Can't wait to see pictures. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Drew was breech up until 2 days before I delivered. My doctor told me to prop my pelvis very high up on pillows (so that I was very inclined. Head flat, stomach very high up in the air.

Then, put lots of ice packs at the top of my pregnant belly. The hope is that it makes the baby uncomfortable and makes it turn. She said to try it several times a day while I rested.

It worked for me and he turned. I was able to deliver naturally, like I had on my other 2 boys. It is worth a try and it worked for me.

I'll talk to her about it. Her and I are buds so i'll put in a good word for you. Oh, and she says she's not negotiating anything unless she gets her own room.

(She's kind of spoiled already...)

Love you guys!!

YES! My first was discovered to be feet first at 36 weeks. I went to an acupuncturist who tried a mixture of acupuncture (there are spots that stimulate the uterus) and something called moxibustion. Yes, it is a little out there and I'm sure most reading this would call me crazy! But I was desperate to deliver naturally for my first and agreed to try anything. You burn a type of "incense" at a certain point by your little toe nail, which also stimulates uterine movement. I also propped my pelvis on pillows but it always gave me a head rush and was so uncomfortable. I did feel a huge increase in fetal movement as if my daughter was trying to turn, but I think we caught the positioning too late and she never turned by 38 1/2 weeks, which is when my DR insisted on a c-section. My c-section went great, but I'll admit I was disappointed. But I was glad I gave turning her a good try. Good luck!

BTW, you probably don't know who I am. :) Brandon used to hang out at my house A TON growing up. He and my bro Marc were good friends. Hi Brandon! Check out my blog at thegorgs.blogspot.com. Thanks for letting me stalk you ;)
