I know you are all wondering where I have disappeared to. . . The start of school sickness finally hit me. Yuck! And I am swimming in a room full of fabric, trying desperately to finish six, seven-piece, elaborate Halloween costumes. Fun times. Anyway-- I thought I would share one last summer-y thought since it appears that we are already into winter here with no end in sight.
Our new home has given Brandon a new hobby-- the yard (lucky me!). He spent the last two months baby-ing his lawn-- fertilizing, edging, mowing, weeding, and on and on and on. The girls thought it was fantastic playing outside, watching Dad, "helping" Dad. When we first got the lawn mower, Brandon was trying to explain that it needed gas because it had a motor in it and the girls didn't quite get it. What they did get is that every Saturday and Tuesday, they got to play outside all day while Dad "motored" the yard.

I bet your lawn looks great! Send Brandon our way when he is finished with yours!! :)
I love it! May they have fond memories motoring with dad!
That is awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwesome!!! I'm so excited I finally got to see this famous lawn of yours, Brandon. I've been thinking about our old neighbor trimming his yard with scissors and picturing you doing the same thing! It looks great and I love that your girls are following right next to you watching the lawn mower. So funny!
I LOVE that they say motoring. I came home and told Ryan how cute that was!! I miss those little ones, and I am SO SORRY you are sick!! If you have too much on you, there is always being a ghost, (white sheet with holes for the eyes) for Halloween!!!
So fun to have a yard!! We just seeded ours and it is coming up. So exciting.
