With everything that happened this summer and with the start of school this fall, the end of summer just kind of snuck up on me without me even realizing it. We went to the pool on Friday night and oh my gosh! The pool was so cold! The cold water sort of shocked me into realization that summer is over! As hot as it is here in the summer, there are parts of it that are very fun and I was suprised to realize I was a little sad for it to be over. Kendi had come to the pool with us one other time and loved it but she was NOT fond of the cold water. (Everyone must have agreed, as we are all in the hot tub, as you can see!) So now I have to wait until next summer when she will be going on a year old!!! Wow, time keeps going faster and faster, doesn't it?

That water was FREEZING!! It made me pee in the pool! Oh, should I have said something earlier? Whelp, sorry. At least all the girlies looked cute in their little swim suits. Especially that gigantic baby!! She is looking SO BIG!! I, too, am sad that summer is ending, but I am happy to have the fall scents coming into season and most of all... HALLOWEEN!!!
Looks like fun. I'm sad to say we haven't ventured much to the pool. It's probably due to the fact that I don't have a bathing suit and am embarrassed to get in one. So sad for my kids, actually I do feel bad and have thought about getting one just so my girls can have the swimming experience. I know I'm a horrible mom, but if you had the body I have you might feel the same way.
It is starting to get cold in Logan in the mornings and nights...like jacket weather cold. I was thinking, this is the time of year in Vegas when it started feeling so nice! (unless you are getting into a cold pool)
I am so glad summer is over!! I am loving the cool mornings now :)
